RURAL POSTINGS ALLOCATION ON THE 14TH


The proposed rural service for the doctors passing out from the Medical colleges has been scrapped and the one year contract under the National rural health service scheme will be applicable for our batch onwards.We all heard the speech on the convocation day by Mr.Dinesh Arora,IAS the Hospital development officer.
Under the new schemes,some of the important points are


Postings will be in district hospitals,taluk hospitals and block PHC levels
Groups of four doctors will be posted in each hospital and hence we can arrange to be with people we are friendly with.
Salary of Rs.15000 and a housing allowance of Rs.3000
Preference will be given for selecting hospitals closer to your residencies as far as possible.
